Not to be confused with the Freeport Anchor, an item with a similar name.
Freeports I-III were a safe zone in which your weapons were disabled. To exit Freeports I-III, you would run into the Gate that is located on the top of the map. All Freeports were a 3x5 grid. You could dock in the Freeport to make trading safer and make a Freeport anchor to keep your ship in freeport. Turrets did not work in Freeports.

- This was the perfect place to recover, if you had been attacked in the previous zone, if you wanted to trade with others, or if you just needed your team to do construction changes inside your ship!
