The Machine Cannon is a fully automatic gun which can now be controlled by the Helm. Unlike other Turrets, the max ammo capacity is 16 Ammo and it has an increased fire rate compared to the Cannon. It now takes time to spin up, and will damage itself when firing at a high rate. To mitigate this, up to two cooling cells may be placed in the cannon. It will occasionally eject a hot cooling cell. Cooling cells can only be put into the turret manually and not with Loaders.
The texture shown in the infobox has been updated in-game.
Obtaining[]
It can not be crafted, you can only find these as loot, as a rare drop from the blue rammer bots in Hummingbird. If you are lucky enough to have had Auto Turrets before the update, they have all now been turned into machine cannons.
