Ship Shrinkinator. This article is about the opposite tool/effect. 
A Ship Embiggener is used to increase the width and height of a Spaceship.
You can switch the axis by pressing [R] on your keyboard. Expanding your Spaceship also makes room to store your items into your Expando Boxes and placing Turrets.
